Installation Service
If you need help in getting FlashStats properly installed on a UNIX system, Maximized Software can perform the installation for you. In order to take advantage of this offer, your ISP account must be remotely acessible via telnet. If you only have FTP access we may be able to work with you but sometimes we can not remotely install FlashStats on an account with just FTP access. Also FlashStats is a CGI application so you will need the ability to install binary CGI applications at your ISP.
If these basic requirements are met then we will install a registered version of FlashStats on your web server at your ISP. FlashStats is $99 and the installation service fee is $150, for a total of $249.
We will need you to provide us with the location of your log files at your ISP and the location of your CGI directory. We will also need your user account name and password. This information is held in the strictest confidence and we will not access your account other than to perform the service requested. If you have the ability to change your password then you may want to change it temporarily for the course of our service and then change it back when we have completed installation.
We will not charge your credit card until FlashStats is properly installed and able to analyze your log files. But, FlashStats can only generate reports based on the information your log files provide. For instance, if your log files do not record the referrer information then the Search Phrases and Top Referrers reports will not contain any useful data. We only guarantee that FlashStats will be able to generate reports for which your log files provide information. If you require the Search Phrases or any other report specifically and you are not sure whether your log files contain the necessary information, please send us a few lines from your web site logs and we will analyze them for you. We may be able to help you work with your ISP to change your log file format if necessary.
Assuming FlashStats is properly installed, the installation service fee is non-refundable. We do have a 30-day money back guarantee for the FlashStats license portion if you are unsatisfied for any reason.
If you are satisfied with the above conditions, please provide us with the following information, either via email or via fax (ie, fill in the fields, print it out, and fax it to (415) 276-3253).
- Your name.
- Your email address.
- Your phone number.
- The user name and password to your ISP account. You may wish to fax or call us with this sensitive information.
- The URL to your webserver.
- The full path to your web server's HTML files at your ISP.
- The full path of your web server's CGI directory at your ISP.
- The full path to your web server's log files at your ISP.
- Credit card number.
- Credit card expiration date.
