Use this report to get a high-level overview of your web site's activity. The first part of the report shows summary information for hits, page views, visits, and visitors. The second part of the report displays the top 10 pages viewed on your web site.
Hits: The total number of requests received by your web site. This number includes each individual request, regardless of content type (page, image, script, etc). Each request is counted separately, including duplicate hits from the same visitor. Page Views: The total number of pages viewed. This number includes only pages viewed; other types of content (such as scripts) are not included. Each page view is counted separately, including duplicate views by the same visitor. (This number is essentially the number of hits to pages.) Visits: The total number of visits. A visit is defined as a series of requests coming from the same visitor. A visit is considered completed after a given amount of time (usually 30 minutes) has elapsed with no further activity. Visitors: The total number of visitors. A visitor is defined by their combination of IP address and user agent, or by their user or session tracking cookie (if enabled). Bandwidth Used: The total amount of data transferred from your server for a given page.
